For 7th Grade Girls ONLY!!!

Hey ladies,

Sorry I couldn't make it to class today. I had to be in the USA for some important business. I'm sure you'll do fine by yourselves, just make sure you don't get into trouble. I'll make sure to eat something delicious for you :-)

Below are links to recordings that I've made of myself singing (sorry that they are not the best quality because I was a little short on time). First I want you to click on the link that is only your part, and then once you feel TOTALLY SURE that you know your part, then and only then can you attempt to sing with everyone's parts.

For the songs that have 2 parts, like soprano and alto, you need to make sure that you follow your part and not the other girl's part. If you are confused as to how the notes sound, then look to see if your note goes higher or lower (up or down) compared to the other part and that should get you on the right track.

You'll be tested on any of the songs below next class, so use this class time to prepare yourself in every song. When you've finished practicing, leave a comment below so that I know everything went ok or if you have any questions about the part. See you soon and good luck!

Coventry Child Soprano (Esther and Emika)
Coventry Child Alto (Kayla and Pran)

Do You Hear Soprano (Esther and Emika)
Do You Hear Alto (Kayla and Pran)

In Stiller Nacht Alto (Esther and Emika)

Pardon the Expression Alto (Esther and Emika)

For Pann ONLY!!!

Hey Pann,

Sorry I'm gone today, but you'll have to practice without me. However, you can practice with my voice singing your part! Isn't that fantastic news? Not all is lost! Click on the links below to practice your concert songs.

First, practice with your part only, and once you feel VERY CONFIDENT that you can sing your part, then and only then can you proceed to practice the full version with the girls part added. You know how annoyed I get when you sing the girls part, sooooooo don't do it!

Once you finish practicing and know your part PERFECTLY, then let me know by commenting under this post. Include your name in the post so I know it's you...a friendly message wouldn't hurt too!

You will be TESTED on this music (it could be anything, so practice everything!) next class, so practice practice practice!

7th and 8th Grade Choir songs are up!

While you are not required to practice, it would probably be a GOOD IDEA to start singing through them and memorizing your part. Start by listening to your part alone and only when you are confident you can sing YOUR part (special hint to the boys), then feel free to practice it with all parts playing.

Choir tests for Nov. 24th

Due to having no school on Thursday, 6th grade choir is the only one that meets this week. We will be having a singing test on Jambo Rafiki and will do it the same way we did it last class. If you have any questions, write them in the comment box below. You sounded great last week!
